What is "boosting" on COD?

well im kinda surprised u dont know what it means but.... its when people get together and and take turns dying to get challenges its usually done in a freeforall. basically its cheating

its when two player in barebones or free for all both plant tac inserts and get headshots off one another. dont listen to the other comment boosting works, it got me red tiger on the ak and fall on the ump

don't do it it's for fags. What it is is playing online with your friend and letting him kill you or killing him a lot without him fighting back for free exp

"Boosting" is generally when two or more players hide in a FFA (free-for-all) match to get killstreaks. One lays down a tactical insertion, the other one kills him, he respawns, and so on and on. It is really for noobs who can't enjoy the game. Luckily, in COD Black Ops they fixed this problem by prohibiting using tactical insertions in FFA matches.
