What is Bobby Jindal?

I know he is a republican and his address last night is getting bad reviews but what is he? Where is he originally from. He looks Indian/carribean but sounds like a texan. Anyone know where he and his family is originally from? And do you think that he will be The Barack for the GOP?

His parents were from India, so he is Indian. He was born 4 months after his parents came to the US. Time will tell if he becomes the GOP Barack Obama. But the mention of Katrina in his speech last night didn't help him. Bad advice. But he seems like a pretty stand up guy.

He is Indian/American and Its Whose Bobby Jindal well He is No Barack Obama He is No George W. Bush he is like the Indian Equivalent to Sarah Palin another Governor trying to steal the Spotlight from Obama and Spit in his Face, I see No Inspiration in Him he is the Anti-Obama.
