What is better two 12" kickers cvr or two 12 mtx jackhammers?

I have always like Kicker over MTX because I have ALWAYS seen them last much longer than MTX. MTX subs tend to start out just as good as Kicker but then quickly loose punch. Kicker subs are extremely accurate and hit nice and hard! I would go with the Kicker subs, but this is a personal choice. Both are very good companies and the RMS is matched and both companies underrate their subs (meaning the subs can handle more than the rating shows).

I would recommend the Kicker subs to you over the MTX any day!

I have two kickers cvr dual voice coil 4 ohms each sub but i want to upgrade to two mtx 12" jackhammers 400 rms each one voice coil what i want to know is if these subs are better than kicker cvrs and if they will hit hard. The kickers are 200-400 rms.

It's a toss up. But if you want to sound louder and better, get a custom box made for your subwoofers. I guarantee that it'll sound better than if you bought a pre-fab box.
