What is better for a college application, sports or band?

I'm just wondering since this year I played football and basketball and track in the spring but want to know if band would be better for getting into college. Thanks
I can't do both because band plays at football games, I play football in the fall if I keep playing, see the conflict. And also I want to be something with science math and business like a business owner
 
it depends, if you have been in either music or sports longer that means a lot. my daughter has been in orchestra since 5th grade, she's in college and my sons have played basketball since they were 4 yrs old and it does pay off but always remember, there's no guarantee in either one. i say go for academics rather than sports because you have a better chance in life.
 
do colleges even check if you really even participated in school activities cant you just lie haha? but i would think sports are betterr to put
