I currently have an AT&T Samsung Impression, but I recently dropped it in the toilet and now its dead. I loved everything about the phone and would really like to have another, but don't want to pay $400 for a new one since my contract isn't up yet. I keep seeing "unlocked" phones. What does unlocked mean? Are these safe to use with my current SIM card?
I guess what I really want to know is-
If I put my AT&T SIM card into an unlocked AT&T phone, will everything work?
