I know the definition- resistance between two points of a conductor when a constant potential difference of 1 volt, applied to these points, produces in the conductor a current of 1 ampere, the conductor not being the seat of any electromotive force.
But why is important to know when hooking up a stereo? I am pretty old school and have been hooking up car audio for about 15 - 20 years as a DIYer, but got out of it for a while starting to get back into and alot of the youger kids keep talking about ohms, we always talked watts? Help a aging bass head with this.
OH! and try and keep it in laymens terms as much as possible.
