I've seen online them by themselves and the MOFI Network 3G Router is a
multifunctional 3G Router and has an 3G/4G USB Modem input and the actual 3G modem stick to put in it for mobile purposes. I don't understand the purpose of the USB modem stick . Is it to tether your laptop to a mobile 3 g phone yso your laptop gets internet access or is it for vise-versa? As a stand alone, Is it to allow your phone to access the internet or make phone calls? Most smartphones, even cheap GSM phones access the internet without a usb modem. I just don't know what it is for. Also for the MOFI, it says, you can take the whole router w/you to conventions (or your friends house) to make a hotspot for people. That's fine and dandy but, someone must have carrier service right? or can ya just set the thing down in a field, point it to the nearest cell tower and let'er rip?
