What is a reasonable asking price: 1966 Ford Ranchero?

I'm interested in buying a '66 Ranchero, but I need to get a little idea of the market on these. It's definitely a project...it sat for a period of 20 years but is up and running again. All matching stock # original parts. While mechanically "sound," there are some worrysome rust issues in some non-visible area (behind the seat, under the bed). Paint is "okay." Asking price is $3250, but I have seen some online for cheaper...but not original. This car deff needs some TLC, but drives and is for the most part straight. I think '66 is the only year of its body style. What's a good offer? $3,000? $2750? They are "accepting offers"
FYI: the car was flushed out completely and used as a daily driver the past year. Inline 6, 3-speed manual

If it has rust problems, it is not worth more than about $1500. If it has sat for that long it will need a complete restoration of the running gear including the cooling system, brakes, engine, transmission etc. You also don't mention what engine and transmission it has. They make a huge difference in it's value. The 1966 was the last of the Falcon based Ranchero's. It has a Falcon front end with the remainder (from the cowl back) being a Fairlane.
