what is a real flash bang like?

anyone who experienced, what it's like? does it hurt? is it a completely white image or is it actually a still pic of what you saw before the flash? I can't trust video games on what it looks like.
 
it is a completely white blinding deafening mind jaring explosion. the flash blinds and somewhat confuses you then the bang is so concussive that it litteraly knocks your bearings out of you for a few moments. it will basically instantly stop you from doing anything that your currently doing for a minute or two.
 
its loud, it's bright and it really loud. thats a flash bang. it's used to startle or used in training situations to simulate a gernaid or mortar.
