I know that the definition is "play on words" but I don't really get that, like in romeo and juliet when they say "draw thy sword"..? Apparently it's when it means more than one thing, but I don't fully understand the poetic device! is there more than one meaning to the word "pun"? Like when someone tells a joke can it also be reffered to as a pun? can anyone give me a better definition and/or an example to increase my understanding? Thanks
