What is a pre-college transition program?

I got an update online for college admission that says...Your application is being considered for admission to the college through a pre-college transition program offered by our Student Academic Support Services office. Can somebody help me out with what this means exactly? Am i accepted?

Well first it depends on the school you are talking about and i was accepted into my college but i have to do a pre college transition program as well in order to start in the fall..so i would say yes but you should probably contact the admissions office, thats what i did
