what is a new good book you have read?

I am looking for a new book to read. I want one that i cannot put down and am glued to. What are some good books that you have read lately?
I am 19.

it was a requirement from school! (which USUALLY i HATE)
but this was GREAT!!!
its by Orson Scott Card
its sci fi which i can NEVER EVER read but i COULD NOT put this book down!!!! ITS SOOOOOOOO GOOOOD!!!! :) good luck

If you like crime try the Lee Child series of Jack reacher books. He is an off the wall guy who gets involved in fighting crime, though he is trying to drop out of society. He has no licenmce, no bank account and no permanent address. His brother was an FBI agent killed on duty and he was a Navy Investigator before he dropped out of society. There are vague references to some crisis that precitptated his decision to drop out but the books never really tell you what that was, so there is always the undercurrent of intrigue about him

.....great books with a well drawn central character and complex plots,and they all keep you on the edge of your seat.
 
I really enjoyed The Da Vinci Code, Angels and Demons, and Digital Fortress by Dan Brown. I could not put down any of them. Also, Slumdog Millionaire (AKA Q and A) the book by Vikram Swasrup was really gripping.

Also, you could go to a website like barnesandnoble.com and search for thrillers, if that's what you're looking for.
