What is a harder sport to play, baseball or soccer?

My friends and i are having an argument on which sport is harder to play. I say baseball because you have to hit, throw, and field, where as in soccer the main thing you need to do is to kick a soccer ball. Also deciding if it is a 95 mph fastball or a 75 mph curveball is also very hard. I admit that you have to be in more physical shape to play soccer, but you have to be pretty good shape to play baseball... you have to run more than people think. In our practices we run 2 miles every day, on top of 30 yard sprints. I want other peoples opinions, which sport is tougher to player, baseball or soccer???

i agree u do have to be more physically fit to play soccer but i agree baseball is more difficult, because of the different stages you go through. It is a lot harder to hit a 95 mph curve ball then to run with a soccer ball.

I am pretty sure there is a lot more mechanics to baseball then there is to soccer. You need mechanics to pitch, hit, run, throw for soccer just running with the ball and shooting does not sound that hard. Like you said, throwing a 90+ baseball is pretty hard to do, plus wrist action for curves and sliders and it strains your shoulder. In my opinion, I do believe baseball is the harder sport to play.

I have played both and coach both I would say soccer is harder in a game you can run up to 5 or 6 miles ease in a 1hr.20min game and your not just kicking the ball you have to be able to place it have touch on the ball and in some game its like football without pads
