What is a good theme for a fashion line collect that falls under current events?

My friend gave me the freedom to choose a theme that will fall under current events to create a fashion collection.

I was thinking about using "GLOBALIZATION" as a theme for the fashion apparel collection for the next season. My dilemma is how will I apply globalization in the collection?
