Not looking to make music or anything serious like that that. I just want good software to playback my MIDI file collection and play my keyboard and that sounds better than the built-in Microsoft GS stuff.
I just got a USB to Midi cable to hook up to my Casio, so I would like it be able to accept MIDI input, but maybe Windows handles that independent of the synth.
I also want something affordable. I don't want to touch those expensive Suites with a million sliders and dials, just want great realtime playback driver/software.
