Hi there,
I'm in Canada, Saskatchewan to be specific, and it was quite windy today with gusts up to 25mph. I did 18.93 miles at 1 hour 19 minutes. I did 3/4 of my ride into the wind with a pace of 4.3 minutes/mile and it dropped to 4.1 minutes/mile on the return with the wind (according to my iPhone).
I'm on a mountain bike with knobby tires and am trying to find people to compare too. I know it would be much more accurate to use a road bike but I don't have the money for one.. my EX9 set me back enough! Does anyone who keeps track of their in city times know if this is a decent pace for the conditions?
I've been biking in the mountains for years but this is the first time I've ever bothered to keep track of my pace in the city.
Cheers!
