What is a good excuse to give Apple to replace my iPhone?

I recently dropped my iPhone 3GS and the corner of the screen is cracked. The phone still works fine, but I'd really like to get it replaced without having to pay the $199 fee to have Apple replace the screen. Any suggestions as to what I should say when I go in other than hoping I get a nice Genius Bar associate?
 
this worked for me:
tell them it fell out of your pocket and act really nice. and you definitley need to get someone who is really nice!
