look for a used crf150F or crf230. first of all, keep in mind that with the 150, you are looking for the F and not R model, which is an all out race bike. both of these are good starter bikes, but will last. both Honda's are based on the same intermediate level trail riding frames, and both have electric starts which make it easier to get the bike started out on the trail. check your local classifieds or ebay and you're sure to find a great deal. be sure your careful when buying the bike, and make sure the bike was maintained and everything is mechanically sound. it's awesome that you are getting into dirt bike riding. I am almost sixteen, about 5'7" and 170 punds. I am looking for a good beginner bike. Mostly for trails. I would consider getting a dual sport. I have about $2000 any suggestions on what i should buy. Thanks
