What is a good debate topic?

In my debate class we are doing persuasive speeches (debates without an opposition) and we get to pick our own topics. I guess my teacher realizes that I am actually pretty smart and that I don't try in debate, so as everyone else is doing things like "schools shouldn't use school uniforms," I am stuck with high expectations from the teacher. Any good ideas for an in depth topic?
Thanks for all of those good ones, mtnglo, the only one I see any problems with is censorship considering I did my final essay on that, but all of the others are good choices for me. If I knew how to choose best answer then it would be you >_>
