for a newborn baby. a colour suited for either a boy or girl
keep in mind it's quite a small room at the back of the house (doesn't get as much sun as we would like..)
thanks :)

i like how someone said pale blue with pink trims later if it is a girl. something i would do. as it was our spare room was already a nice pale apple green colour. we were going to add pink accessoriess for a girl or blue for a boy. we had a boy and i've done dark blue against the green, with winnie the pooh and forest decals. looks sooo nice

For our first, we knew we were having a girl but I chose to paint our daughter's room/nursery a very, very pale blue. I chose blue because even if they got the scan wrong, then blue would suit obviously being a boy but I thought that if they were right and she is a girl, pink on pale blue looks beautiful. Blue on Pink doesn't look so good so that's why I chose Pink on Blue. Scan was right and she was a girl so we just did finishing touches in pink and it looked beautiful in the end.

We love our green and white nursery. The bottom half is white, with a chair rail, then the top half of the walls is green. The ceiling is also bright white. To add to the fun, there are glow-in-the dark stars on the ceiling. Our daughter likes looking at them as she is put down to bed at night.

Also, the two colors make the room look more sophisticated and kind of bigger (it's also a small room).

The furniture we have is kind of a honey oak color, so it looks great with the green and white, and all the pink bedclothes and blankets look awesome, too :).
