I've always wanted to be in the health care field, but I have just recently decided that I want to be a general family practitioner and get my MD. The question that is really nagging at me is what college should I go to? I live in Georgia, and I'm definitely not going out-of-state. I have a very large knowledge in music theory, and I've actually learned part of the cirriculum of a music major at a camp that I went to over the summer. I definitely want to major in music, but i don't know if I could juggle that along with a pre med program. My dream college WAS Emory, but then I realized that it didn't have a marching band, and I was crushed! 
I'm a total band nerd, and i love playing snare drum. Anyways, I was just wondering if any of you knew some really good colleges that offer support with my situation. Also, do you know of any scholarships that are based on race? I am half American, half Filipino(Asian). I have looked into the Bill Gates scholarship, but i think that you have to be completely of that race to be eligible. I am very smart, one of the best in my class, so I want a really good, challenging experience as a future college student.
