Any car, that i can put alot of time, and work into, i dont care if it is foreign, or american, i just want to have a project, and have a wide variety of parts available to my car.
If money is not an obstacle than I would go with an import tuner car that has a strong aftermarket base like a Mitsubishi Evo or Subaru WRX sti. These things aren't just rice burners, they can be powerful if quality work is put into them.
If you want to upgrade the whole drivetrain and turn it into 4-wheel drive and put engine mods on i would say buy the SL model because it is front wheel drive and has no turbo. But if you dont want to do all that then get the VR4 because it is 4-wheel drive and has twin turbo stock.
