I am 16 and i graduate high school next year. I already know what house i will be living in when im in college and i know i will have more than enough room for a parrot. I will have two roommates and one dog (Zamba- a 3yr old Min Pin- great with all animals). I have been wanting a parrot for about 3 years and have never owned anything other than a budgie.I really would love that kind of commitment. I can totally see myself growing old with a parrot in my house. I have been doing a ton of research but i just want some opinions from parrot owners or people who are more experienced than me with birds. What i really want is a medium sized bird, i was thinking an Red Lored or Lilac Amazon. They seem the best suited for me. I dont really care a whole bunch about the talking, but i am on a buget, no more than $800. So based on what you now know about me, what is a a good breed of parrot to get? Any additional info would be greatly appreciated!!
