Scenario 1:
I do 2 sets of 10 with 145lb for flat bench press, followed by 1 set of 10 with 155lb (my 3 rep maximum is 185lb)
The break time for that is 5 minutes, although I try to shoot for 3.5.
Scenario 2:
I do 2 sets of 8 with 45lb dumbells, followed by 1 set of 8 with a pair of 50s
The break time for that is 5 minutes, although I always try to shoot for 3.5
So far the above seem to be doing the trick for me, but my question is, are the breaks too long?
and what can I do better?
