i wish i had read ps i love you before i seen the movie. also the notebook. i can't get myself to read a book i already seen the movie to.it just ruins the whole thing. thanks anyway. what else?

Good books are Howl's Moving Castle & The Silver Kiss (<-------That book is totally incredible! Its about a girl who falls in love with a Vampire! Hehe! Its awesome, just awesome!)

p.s. i love you
atonement
bright shiny morning by James Frey
I know this much is true [sorry dont remember author]
remember me by sophie kinsella

How about a vampire love story? "Minion" starts the Vampire Huntress series by LA Banks.
It's not bad.

Another good book is "Blackbird House" by Alice Hoffman. It's short and fast paced – over far too quickly.

Oh, I can't believe I forgot "The Time Traveler's Wife"

Lies My Teacher Told Me: Everything Your American History Textbook Got Wrong by James Loewen.

The Count of Monte Cristo by Alexander Dumas (sooo good!!)

The God Delusion, The Selfish Gene, or the Blind Watchmaker, all by Richard Dawkins.

Don't Believe Everything You Think: The 6 Basic Mistakes We Make in Thinking

Don't Believe Everything You Think: The 6 Basic Mistakes We Make in Thinking by Thomas E. Kida

Mistakes Were Made (But Not by Me): Why We Justify Foolish Beliefs, Bad Decisions, and Hurtful Acts by Carol Tavris and Elliot Aronson

Books I recommend are:
Fight Club by Chuck Palahniuk
Looking for Alaska by John Green
A Heartbreaking Work of Staggering Genius by Dave Eggers
Running With Scissors by Augsten Burroughs
The Bell Jar by Sylvia Plath
Companions of the Night - Vivian Vande Velde
Twilight Series by Stephenie Meyer
The Host by Stephenie Meyer [REALLY GOOD!]
Boy Meets Girl by Meg Cabot (Boy Series is hilarious)
Shopaholic Series by Sophia Kinsella
Queen of Babble Series by Meg Cabot
Gingerbread by Rachel Cohn
Blood and Chocolate by Annette Curtis Klause
(Nothing like film and so much better!)
Nick and Norah's Infinite Playlist by Rachel Cohn and David Levithan

I'm a huge fan older works. All have a bit of romance too.
Plus they all are movies/tv mini series.
If you don't mind older works try:
Jane Eyre by Charolotte Bronte
Pride and Prejudice by Jane Austen (Anything by her is great)
North and South by Elizabeth Gaskell
