If you like the 125 market, you should get a Honda CBR125 or a Yamaha YBR125, and at least this way you could start off little and if you want something with more power you can get a 250 or more.
The CBR hits 160 Km/h top end and cruises at an easy 135-140.
The YBR gets up to about 100 and cruising about 80 Km/h.
CBR = 2500 €
YBR = 1800 - 2200€

They would both be fine for your height and weight, and you would save a few bob too!

Hi, im 22 years old and i live in los angeles, ca. I just got my m1 permit and im taking the basic rider course at the end of this month. I am looking to get a bike after winter when it starts to get warmer. i don't have much saved up, maybe like 3-4 grand. i was planning to get a kawasaki ninja 250r new from the dealership but i've been doing research and people say not get a new bike cause i will drop it and its not worth it. I want a bike that will get great mileage and doesn't cost too much. i would really like to drive a sports type bike but i am willing to go along w/ a cruiser or so just get expierience. im planning to ride it for mabe a year or so and then move on to a better and more powerfull bike. im 6-2 and weigh about 150. what do you recommend i get? thanks a lot
Thanks for the suggestions guys, i was looking at those bikes and i really like the honda deal w/ the free gear that you get. but i was looking to get an engine size 250cc or bigger, but i didn't know that if the engine is bigger than a 250cc then the gas mileage won't be as tolerable. thanks again guys for ur advise :)

And thanks Robert, im gonna try not to get anything bigger
thanks a lot john, that was lot of info :) but i appreciate it. but yea that does give me more of an idea of what to get or look for. thank you again
