what is a good ADULT beginner dirt bike?

i am looking to get a dirt bike for riding not only trails but also go off just say 50 60 ft. iv never had a bike before but i want it to have power because im a quick learner and i think i can handle it. i dont know how to fix a bike but am eager to learn and will take the time to learn how to fix my own bike. im try to find it used for around 3000 or less if you know any good places to look for used bikes that would help to. any guidence is appreciated thanks oh and i weigh around 200 lb
 
A 250cc 4 stroke is what you need. Your choices are: Honda XR 250, Honda CRF 250, Kawasaki KX 250F, Suzuki RM 250F, Suzuki DRZ 250, Yamaha TTR 250, Yamaha WR 250F, Yamaha WR 250R, and Yamaha YZ 250F. Look for them in your local classifieds, auto & cycle trader magazines, ebay, and craigslist.
