What is a fun free paint/draw program?

I've been searching online for a while now for a fun freeware legal paint/draw program. I've tried gimp, inc scape, pencil and tux paint but none of them quite do it for me. I'm looking for a fun but simple drawing program (none of all those filters and complicated HUD). One particular paint program is My Paint. one that I enjoy but i'm looking for something else. Please tell me a of a great program or post me a link. Please make sure its freeware (not that 30 day trial nonsense), its legal and not too big (preferably under 100mb). And please answer the question or don't post anything. Thank you

Do you have windows? If yes, try Paint.Net, you can make things transparent and make layers and all sorts of effects!

have you tried gpaint? Might just do the trick.

Gimp is free, and can do anything you want. (You can use lots of filters and whatnot, but I don't- its to advanced for me...)
