What is a free and safe online MMORPG game?

What is a good MMORPG to play online?

Preferably something that you have played that is free (I can't afford to pay considering the copious amounts of gaming that I do so WOW is out of the question + you have to buy the expansion pack which costs even more)

The game you suggest must meet the following criteria:
- The game is Free
- The game is safe / virus free
 
I'd still recommend Phantasy Star Online, but it's probably not what you're looking for. As in... No huge landscape to traverse, four players at once in the actual game... And you only meet more people in the lobbies before entering a game. Also, it's more of a hack and slash RPG. But it's free, safe, and a good game.

Then again, it's more of an adventure game with RPG elements now that I think about it... But good fun nonetheless.

Edit: Also, no talking about getting lives here, kthx. I don't think you should be the one saying that kind of stuff, as you can't even type a sentence correctly.
