what is a cool way I can ask a girl out to a valentines day dance?

I don't want it to be to sexual, and I don't want it to have candy like (Would you be a sweet hart and go to the dance w/ me)...
 
Does she have a locker? maybe you cld get her something sweet with a card and ask her to go to the dance with u and then put it all in her locker. ask one of her friends for the combo.
 
i like that idea. ABOVE. yeah but of course thats NOT gonna happen. if you can sing and play the guitar, i would song to her and then ask her to the dance, if you dont really know her you might creep her out so just ask like, hey, wanna go to the dance with me? if she seems to like you then, do it the first idea way. that would be pretty awesome. :D
 
There's a Valentines Day dance coming up. I'm going and I thought maybe you come with me.
 
Why don't you just walk up and ask her to the dance whenever she's not totally surrounded by her friends, or maybe leave her a note somewhere she'll be sure to find it?

There's no need to get complicated. If you did something really elaborate to ask her out, the chance of you or her getting embarrassed would be so much greater.

if there is an assembly coming up ask in the middle of it
leave flowers on her desk with a note
have her go on like a scavenger hunt all day, leave little notes and treats to who you are and asking her do the dance then at the end be there to ask her
