I am looking for a mountain bike that is full suspension. Im looking for around $1,000 to $1,400 And I want to get a name brand (Kona, Trek,Giant etc.) So if there are are bikes in this range, and which would be better. Also, for any bike more than that range, how much more would I get?

thats a good range for a good mountain bike full suspension, erm trek, claud butler, schwinn and maybe apollo but i have my reservations with apollo i trashed an apollo full suspension in a month so to avoid disappointment steer clear of apollo if you want my advice!
and dont forget that if you buy from a good dealer they will be more than happy for you to go back after 4-6 weeks for a free check-up on your bike and will fit upgraded parts to it for you if you wish obviously costing you some more.
or you can go to a specialist dealer and for more than your price range you can have the dealer let you choose all the parts you want and will put your bike together for you so its just the right spec you want, you go through all the parts there like brakes, gears, suspension and so on this is recommended by me because they will show you the best parts and help you get the good deal for you. i am in the UK and this would cost me around £4000+ or a bit below depending on parts i chose but for the best spec £4000+ but in dollars im not sure i know they are pretty equal but im sure the prices will vary
