what is a better system.playstation 3 or xbox 360. want to purchase one but

not sure which one.? i mainly play sports games,football ,hockey,baseball.which system is better for these games .thanks
 
ok the 360 is soo much better on everything and they have much better games and online is awsome.
 
playstation 3 overall is the best console out there. it plays blue ray dvds unlike xbox and has a longer life span. u won't b dissapointed
