I live in Jennings, Louisiana. The University of Louisiana at Lafayette is 45 mins away. It's a really great school, 2nd best in the state to, you guessed it, LSU.
But LSU is 2 abd half hours away. I'm going to move away eventually for college but I'm really more familiar with the smaller Lafayette and it costs less. But LSU offers a better education and 4 years if enough time to get used to it.
