what is a better car - the ford mondeo st220(3.0 v6) or the mg zt 260(4.6 v8 from

mustang)? im going to persuade my mum to buy one of these cars because i dont think she would look good in some of my other preferances such as a mercedes cl600. she is 45 and doesnt look like a car person or anything, just normal. i prefer the v8 just for the sound. but the mg is sort of an old mans car(at least the rover version anyway) but the mondeo is nicer looking(in my opinion) and the engine looks nicer too. but its slower and doesnt sound as good. oh and the interior is nicer too. on reliability they are both prety much the same. which would you reccomend i persuade her to buy? and if not one of these then what else would you reccomend. i want a saloon with a 3.0 or bigger engine - preferably a v8, sorry for the long question
