What is a best buy? A 1998 toyota solara 5k miles or a 2003 solara with 200k miles

Well, let's see.

The 98 with only 5k miles was probably driven to church every Sunday, and to the grocery store and probably has carbon build up in the engine 5" thick and never been serviced.

The 03 with 200k miles has more than likely been mostly driven on the hi-way, and since it was used for long distances, probably has been serviced and taken care of.

Just my opinion.
