what insurance covers nexium

I think every insurance is different. My insurance has preferred PPI's that I had to try before they would approve Nexium. I ended up going through a cycle of PPI's. The order was pretty much determined, not by my neeRAB, but by what was required by my insurance.

Most insurances will have you try Prilosec before approving anything since it is OTC.
 
I have medical and it covers it 100% but it covers pretty much everything. All i had to do was get a prescription for it and they approved it. Good thing too because without it i saw on the bottle it said it was like $140 dollars for the 30. I would not be on it if i didnt have the medical and when my parents get a job again and get off medical i have no clue how we will be able to have it.
