What image does this name create in your mind?

This is out of curiosity. My character's name is Sevilen. He's a guy. I'm wondering what images people connect to the name. the personality. the look. I've got my image down already, but i'm interested in your imagery.

It reminds me of a snake, lol. It does sound kind of evil, reminds me of Severus Snape from harry potter

is it pronounced almost the same way as "civilian"? the name brings to mind a sneaky, shadowy figure.. a guy who does what is necessary, and says to hell with convention. he probably wears a suit, or a trench coat, whatever the situation may warrant, I see a male, white, late 20's early 30's maby with short scruffy facial hair, possibly rocking a black fedora hat, and classy, classy as hell...

hair - black, slightly long, slightly un-kept or neatly combed back into a CEO style pony tail

eyes - piercing green, or deep deep blue

clothing - dark, three piece suit or tactical clothing

personality - distant, mysterious, a classical aire of personal dissonance and cultural defiance

he's a badass, and he doesn't care who knows it, unless he is purposefully keeping this juicy bit of info from his cohorts..

Hair- White-blond

Eyes- Pale Blue

Height- 5'8

Weight- Underweight, VERY skinny

Personality- Grumpy, smart, know it all, can be nice

Details- Thin lips, narrow eyes, a scar running down forehead to the end of left cheek, pale, pale, skin, pure white teeth, long bony fingers, and a long nose.

Hope i helped!

I'm imagining a weird tough guy with black hair and a ponytail. Now I'm imagining that guy in heroes who dated the cheerleader in real life. Now I'm imaging a snake. Now I'm imagining the next harry potter movie (only a week, woo!) And now I'm imagining answering better questions.

I'm one of those people who sees what a person looks like from hearing their name. That doesn't make much sense...when I'm reading a book if the author introduces a character and says 'in walked John' I immediately conjure John in my mind before the author has chance to describe him.

When I read Sevilen I thought of Severus Snape and 'snivelling'. Dark hair, a little greasy, big nose and a bit sneaky. Pretty much Snape lol. It could be changed though. Sounds quite an old name with a bit of magic/vampireness behind it. I would be interested to know your image once others have answered.

Good luck!
