I don't believe anything the main stream media says- it's hype, they are trying to take our minds off of what's really happening by scaring us. It's politically motivated I'm sure.

the "media" is all about "sensationalism" and narrow minded news people who misuse and abuse the rights of the 1st Amendment..Matt Lauer is a prime example, he's so full of himself that he wouldn't know the truth if it slapped him in the face..

You have to have a trained eye and mind to see through these things.
They aren't truthful I can tell you that.
They are master's of suggestion. We all would do well to acknowledge the power of 'suggestion' that the media has.

The media outlets that I used to read about the flu outbreak seemed pretty straight-forward. They told the number of confirmed infected people, possible infected, locations, government actions, scientists recommendations, etc.
