What, if anything, can I get from this car accident?

My friend borrowed my car and a guy made a left turn in front of her and she hit him. I was not in the vehicle though at the time of the accident. It was his fault for failure to yield and was cited for it. I had to take a day off from work because I was out of town and without a vehicle and I will have to take another day off to go pick my car up once it's been repaired. Is there anything I can get for the time missed from work as well as the emotional strain it has placed on me and the cost of me having to return to the town that the accident occurred in?
I know his insurance will cover the rental and repairs. My friend had permission to drive my vehicle but I'm the one that has to take the time off from work and have to travel to pick up my car because this happened out of town. It's no big deal to me that it was my friend driving when it happened, I just want this guy to have to pay for what I have to go through now for not knowing how to drive.

Doubtful! The other persons insurance should be paying for your rental car while your car is being repaired.

You could probably get money out of your friend though. If you chose to take her to court.
