What html code would I use to use an anchor on another page?

What Im trying to do is link two pages together but use anchors. This is for a music website so on one web page its going to have a list of the song names, and on the other seperate page it will have all of the lyrics. What code should I use to allow the user to click the song name on one page and be directed to the corresponding lyrics on another page? I've tried an anchor tag but it only goes to the top of the page and not to the corresponding song
