horse driving trials. im not sure which countries are most involved - probably the uk and germany. they have the HDTA (horse driving trials association) in the uk and compete in national, club and grass roots events but there are not enough countries participating to make it an olympic sport. also due to the fact that there are too many classes (single novice/intermediate/open, pairs ponies and horses, tandems ponies and horses, teams ponies and horses) it would be difficult to create an olympic class from it. horse driving trials is incredibly popular here and the events are attended by many drivers of all levels and abilities. it is very expensive though - harness/carriage/kit etc not to mention big enough lorries - and not enough prize money is offered. im noit sure if thats enough for you or the right stuff - if u need any more info let me know!!!
