what honda and engine combination would be the fastest?

The EG8 with a K20 would be a good way to go. Del sols are great, but they are kinda hard to swap, but if you get a Del sol si, it alredy has a B16. What i would get for racing is a Integra GSR with a GSR-B16A.
 
I'm thinking of getting a new honda and doing engine swap to get into local drags..

I thought about following cars:

Integra 2000CC
Del Sol with K20, B18C, B16A Swap

EG8 with K20 Swap


What do you suggest me to buy? what would be the fastest?
 
honestly alot of it depends on how much money you want to spend.if you want a interior or not.if you want to go N/A or turbo/nos its hard to set a goal for someone else without knowing details ya know....also you could have any swap in the world say you spent 10,000 on a k series but someone else had a b18c5 boosted and fully built.you get what im saying?just pick a swap yourself then build it up! Boost it up n go have fun.
 
Hm there's many different combinations that would give you different advantages and disadvantages. I think from what you have listed up there the eg with the k swap would be your best bet but here are some other ideas you might wanna consider.

1. LS/Vtec in a EG or EF. LS/Vtec gives you the assurance of low end torque and high end torque. And in an EF or EG which weighs almost nothing it would be a monster.

2. Or a frankenstien swap. Thatrs a k24 block with a k20 head. The k20 head on that block flows better. And again in an EG or EF.

Either way the choices listed above will easily do you 13 sec on the track
