eventually via the BBWAA? I know that a few players have been inducted via the VC with tiny BBWAA percentages at one point or another (like Richie Ashburn premiered with two votes or so).
What I want to know is, who made up the most ground on the BBWAA ballot?
I know Bert Blyleven started out with about 17%, and he's probably getting in next year, so if that's the record, that'll work.
ALSO- If any player took a dip below their starting percentage, I'd like to know the lowest for any future HOFer getting in via the BBWAA.
@Fungo- well, yeah, but I have a REALLY SLOW internet connection, so it would probably take me... a few hours. This is faster.
