When a senior (assistant supervisor) walks off a job, are there immediate repercussions? Is it possible for that employee to be immediately re-instated; or, will he/she need to re-apply for a position in that same company?
An assistant supervisor, Anna, walked off the job. She came in one morning, as usual, said a cheerful hello to all, walked into a back workroom, got into some kind of altercation with another co-worker Jill. Nobody heard the exact exchange between the two.
Later, I heard from a Senior supervisor (supervises both Jill and Anna) that "there had been on-going problems." Apparently, Jill isn't the nice person we all thought she was. As well Anna, the one who walked out, didn't get along with everyone as we all thought.
My general thoughts on Anna, supervisor, is that she was usually quite pleasant, upbeat, happy, and wonderful. I've generally felt a little uncomfortable around Jill.
