What happens when a dog eats fish food?

No, my cat has done that before. Just this morning he knocked the fish food over to try to open it. Its just freeze dried shrimp, fish meal, etc.
 
I was downstairs on the computer and I called for my dog. When he came downstairs, he had a bottle of fish food in his mouth, which all the fish food was gone. It was the flaky kind, not pellets. I'm wondering, will fish food flakes make my dog sick?
