Okay I am a new driver and don't have much experience with towing rules. I accidently parked in a school parking lot so my car was towed right when I was walking out of my doctor's office. The truck driver gave me a lift to the tow place which was like a 2 minute drive away. He says that it won't count against me and that it won't go on my permanent record or anything since it was in a school zone and he even said it would be worse if I had gotten it towed due to street cleaning or something like that. I paid the fine which was 112.20$. Of course he wrote down my name and license number then I had to sign two sheets one of which was the receit and the other was a copy of a form with all of the information like car brand and model.

My question is... should I trust what he said that it won't go on my permanent record nor affect me in anyway besides financially? By the way he even commented that I should treat it like a "lesson learned." Is there anyone who has had experience with this? Any replies would be helpful thank you.
