HW Help?
A glass of whole milk contains lactose (milk sugar), protein, triglycerides (in butterfat), vitamins and minerals. Explain what happens to each component when it passes through the digestive tract. Where in the tract is each component broken down (if applicable)? What smaller molecules comprise each component (if applicable)? Where in the digestive tract is each component absorbed?
