Okay so i'm reading "to kill a mockingbird" but i don't understand what happens in the court case. Can someone please explain? And also, since it was set to happen in the early twentieth century (1930s) what would have happened if this case would have came about in today's society? What would happen if the character were tried in today's judicial system? Why did it happen the way it did in the novel? All i know is that the court case was about Tom Robinson being accused of rape against Bob Ewell's daughter. PLEASE HELP &' THANKS :)
