what happens if you stuck a magnet on a TV screen?

You'd be bonkers to do that.

Additional details. You did it didn't you? lol

To fix it:

Some newer TV's have a degause button on them or in one of the menu screens. Hit that a few times and usually that'll fix it after a couple of passes.

Some TV shops have a wand device that does the same thing, but for TV's that don't have the built in device. I'm sure they'd fix it for you for a small fee.

It leave a colorful mark, which is just plainly ugly and ruins the TV screen..And i think it's permanent im not sure.

It Goes Green in that patch, to fix it you have to get it Demagnetised usually but sometimes it does right itself eventually depending on how old the Tv set is, the older the tv the less likely it is it will right itself.

If it's a tube type TV, the magnet will slowly fade the colors. That's why all TV speakers are magnetically shielded. As for LCD & Plasma TVS, the harm isn't as bad but still does more harm than good. It's always best to keep magnets away from TVS @ all times.

Hope I answered your question
