what happens if you don't show up to court?

my boyfriend got pulled over a little over a month ago 4 speeding and he happened to have 1 blunt w/ him @the time that the cops found..he went to court 2 weeks ago for it and told me he had to go back today...i was waiting 4 him for an hour and a half b4 i decided to go in..iasked a cop inside if he could possibly tell me if he was there or not..he went in and found out, came back and told me he wasnt..i confirmed that he was acually scheduled to be there and the cop said he was...what will happen to him? ii havent spoke to my man since cuz he lost his cell and goes to work at 7pm so i cant speak to him until tomorrow...im jus wonderin wat will happen since he missed court? we live in jersey btw
im PI$$ED by the way...i think this was so stupid of him and im so mad i cant talk to him

A warrant will go out for his arrest unless he calls and reschedules. Think carefully about this guy. First, he doesn't care if he gets in trouble and second, he didn't care that he left you there waiting. I would move on and let him deal with his own troubles. You deserve better than that.
